Fans Pay It Forward!
Today my daughter, Sarah and I were watching Rachael Ray and Jennifer Hudson was a guest and she gave out her new book - I got this. Rachael then asked the audience who received a free copy to pay it forward and I thought how cool that was. She suggested that if you got the book for free and if you like it, then buy a copy and give it to a friend. What an awesome concept of paying it forward.
So I'm going to ask my fans, who have received a book of mine for free and you like it, to please pay it forward and purchase one for a friend.
Also I just want to thank everyone for all your positive feedback on my books. Thank you s very much! I love you all and there is plenty more coming soon!

Check out Bodice Rippers!
I posted this before I thought, but couldn't find the link or where I posted it. So I'm going to mention it again.
Bodice Rippers It's a great blog, with reviews of books and interviews and lovely eye candy to amuse yourself with. Also a few other tidbits like contests, and articles. I think the women who run this are doing a great job and they love my favorite author Christine Feehan, which means so much to me along with Lisa Kleypas.
I'd love for everyone to check out their bog and give them a follow on Twitter.

New Release - Witch Mistake
I have just released Witch Mistake exclusively on Kindle for 90 days.
It's a cute little story I wrote and thought it could really become something bigger but each time I sat to edit it, it just seemed to fit in such a sweet little package. My daughter Sarah reminded me that even the smallest of stories can have a large impact. So I released it as is. Just a sweet little love story between a witch and a vampire. :)

Emotional Day
Today has actually been an emotional day of writing. It's not often while writing I find myself emotionally moved to tears. However it's happened today while working on the Royal Seer.
It happened before while writing the Forgotten Assassin, that I was so moved as the scene rushed through my head that I stopped and pulled out the laptop and continued crying as I wrote the scene.
Now yesterday I was writing a very small scene where Vestrial opens a book that was given to her by her father and immediately she is rushed with emotions. I found myself wiping a tear from my eyes as I wrote it. It was a mixture of sadness and happiness that she was experiencing.
Then this morning very early I am writing a scene with Scious, it's a very climatic and very emotional charged scene. It was actually heartbreaking and sure enough, here I am in tears.
This hasn't happened often when writing, but for some reason these Mystic's are very attached to me. Wow!
I hope when I'm finally finished with the Royal Seer, those who read it will feel the passion I do.

The Royal Seer Synopsis
Okay, been writing on the Royal Seer, really trying to get it done for the New Year. I know everyone has been waiting since I released the Royal Assassin for more of Myst. The Royal Warrior is hanging tight too, but Scious and Vestrial seem to make their voices more known to me and I know their whole story, so it's just a matter of putting it down correctly, the way I see it and hear it in my head.
I have rewritten the Synopsis... Just asked my kid what she thought. Her words "I like it." okay lately that's her new catch phrase, no matter what I read to her or say to her. "How was the concert last night?" -> "I liked it."
OMG
Anyway. I do hope this little update/preview of the Royal Seer is - likable. :)

The Royal Seer
Scious
the Royal Seer from the Royal House of Darkness and Shadows is not
only the most celebrated Seer to date he is also the longest standing
one. His visions are powerful and so is his magic. Yet such power
comes secrets and with secrets come vulnerability. This keeps Scious
on guard and prepared at all times. However nothing prepared him for
his encounter with a strong willed Nightelf by the name of Vestrial.
He could see everything except her. Her future eludes him, which only
intrigues him. He wants her for his lover but he settles for her as
his seamstress.
Vestrial
born to both Nightelf and Mystic parents, is truly gifted with her
magic, yet she has no idea how gifted her talents really are. She's
never felt comfortable with Nightelves or with Mystics and she's
really not been accepted with either groups so she usually keeps to
herself and home with her mother. She has no idea when she makes an
errand for the Mystic Oracle that her life is about to suddenly
change. That the Royal Seer, a single man, a Mystic, will introduce
her to magic like she's never known before. Vestrial told herself she
would never follow the path of her mother and fall in love with a
Royal Mystic. But there's something about the Royal Seer that touches
her heart and her soul.
Mystic
and Nightelf relationships are frowned upon and in some families even
forbidden but there is something about Vestrial that Scious cannot
let go of. There is something so pure and untouched inside her that
never ceases to amaze and astound him. It's not until he's thrust
into a vision that he will never escape from that he fully
understands why.
Myst's
future lies in the balance and the Royal Seer has seen the outcome of
two possibilities. He carries the heavy burden knowing that his
actions will decide the future of not only Vestrial but all of Myst.

Shadows of Myst
Today I've been busy with writing about the Royal Seer. Since this is a bit of a prequel it's been interesting so far in how the word of Myst has developed in my mind for when I wrote the Royal Assassin. I've discovered that the Royal Assassin takes place over 100 plus years from this story and much transpired between these two stories that actually brought a lot of change in Myst.
The Royal Assassin is also more about Reis and Shadowen with Myst being a backdrop in a way. It's still very relevant and yet it's more the story of them and how they will effect Myst.
The Royal Seer shows more an insight into Mystics and Nightelves and their day to day life, their relationships, views and the Royal Court. Not everything is cut and dry and much that happens in this story sets the wheels in motion for Myst. Although since I know even more about the back story that takes place over 1000 years before this one. I gather I could write that at a later date.
Each book in this series will however focus on certain individuals and Reis being in each story at some point. He's a key element to the series and why he's so important really won't be revealed until perhaps the last book The Forgotten Assassin.
Anyway I'm having fun writing today. :)
